B-Mets, Rock Cats Postponed Due to Rain

The Binghamton Mets game with the New Britain Rock Cats was postponed Monday night at NYSEG Stadium due to rain following a lengthy delay. The contest will be made up as a part of a doubleheader Tuesday night beginning at 5:35 PM. Gates will open at 5:00 PM and for a pair of seven-inning games.

The postponement marks the fifth time in 2010 that the B-Mets have been rained out at NYSEG Stadium. All tickets for Monday's game are redeemable for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any of Binghamton's six remaining openings in 2010.

LHP Mark Cohoon (3-3, 5.47) gets the call against RHP Chris Province (6-5, 4.89) of New Britain in Game 1 of the twin bill Tuesday and RHP Jenrry Mejia (1-0, 1.77) will oppose RHP Deolis Guerra (2-9, 6.20) in the nightcap to follow. The radio broadcast on Newsradio 1290 WNBF begins at 5:20 with the Horizons Federal Credit Union Pre-Game Show.
