Another Week, Another Overtime Shootout at Home

Attendance: 5,877
Kevin Truelson's game-tying goal with 1:26 left in regulation sent the game to a shootout, where Ryan Munce stopped all four Stockton attempts to give the Condors a 3-2 shootout victory over the Stockton Thunder in front of 5,877 fans at the Rabobank Arena.

Where We Are
The Condors (8-7-4, 20 points) sit in fourth place in the Pacific Division, two points behind San Diego for third with two games in hand, and four points behind Long Beach with five games in hand. Fresno leads the division at 10-4-7 with 27 points.

Notes from the Nest
-With the shootout victory, goaltender Ryan Munce took the league lead in shootout wins with four and ranks fifth in the league with a .930 save percentage. Munce's record improved to 6-0-3.
-The Condors have played past regulation in eight of their nine home games, and 10 of 19 overall.
-Bakersfield currently ranks third in the ECHL in average attendance. Through nine home dates, the Condors have drawn 6,188 fans per game.
-With a 6-0-3 record at Rabobank Arena, the Condors are one of only two teams without a regulation loss at home. The Las Vegas Wranglers are 10-0-1 at home this season.
-Mike Hofstrand's five-game point streak, which ended on Friday, matches the longest this season by a Condor. Kevin St. Jacques also maintained a five- game point streak from 11/5-11/17.
-Alexandre Bolduc ranks third among ECHL rookies in total shots with 82. Bolduc is also tied for the rookie lead with three shorthanded points.
-The Condors are 6-0-3 at home this season, taking 15 of 18 possible points in that span.

On Monday, December 26th, the Condors return home to take on the Las Vegas Wranglers. All fans in attendance will receive free Condors holiday poster courtesy of UPN-45 and Rio Bravo Country Club. The team will also celebrate the Canadian tradition of Boxing Day, and fans are invited to box up their older gifts for donation to Goodwill Industries. The 26th also marks the second Condors Kids Club game of the season. Members of the Kids Club will receive free admission to the game when presenting their membership card at the arena.
