Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a perfect 4-0-0 record this week with victories over Johnstown Toledo and Wheeling. Tuesday night, Las Vegas shutout Johnstown 4-0 at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers were victorious in Toledo with a 5-2 win on Friday night. Saturday evening, Las Vegas edged the Storm 3-2 in a rematch at the Toledo Sports Arena. Sunday afternoon, Las Vegas won 4-3 in a shootout at Wheeling.

This week the Wranglers will travel to Stockton, CA to meet the Stockton Thunder at the newly opened Stockton Arena on Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm. Las Vegas will return home to face the Long Beach Ice Dogs in the Midnight game at 11:59 pm on Monday, December 19th.

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Johnstown Chiefs 4-0 on Tuesday night at the Orleans Arena in front of 4,123 fans. Goalie Marc Magliarditi made 20 saves for his second shutout of the season and his ECHL All-Time leading 23rd of his career. Forwards Derek Edwardson and Dan Tudin, along with defenseman Tim Hambly each scored a goal and added an assist as Las Vegas moved to 10-0-1 at home this season. Right wing Steve Crampton also scored a goal as Las Vegas moved to 7-0-1 in their last eight games.

Toledo, OH - The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Toledo Storm 5-2 at the Toledo Sports Arena on Friday night. Winger Dan Tudin registered the first Wranglers Hat Trick of the season, helping Las Vegas improve to 4-4-1 on the road. Center Chris Stanley added two goals as the Wranglers improved to 9-0-1 in their last 10 games. Wranglers' goalie Marc Magliarditi made 12 saves, improving to 9-4-1 on the season. The Wranglers set a new team record by holding Toledo to 14 shots in the game.

Toledo, OH - The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Toledo Storm 3-2 at the Toledo Sports Arena on Saturday night. Left wing Shawn Limpright scored the game-winning goal with 1:38 remaining in regulation for the victory. Center Chris Stanley and defenseman Tyler Sloan also scored, pacing the Wranglers to their fourth straight win. Goalie Marc Magliarditi improved to 10-4-1 on the season with 30 saves

Sunday, December 11th

Las Vegas 4 at Wheeling 3 SO

Wheeling, WV - The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Wheeling Nailers 4-3 in a shootout at Wesco Bank Arena on Sunday afternoon. Forwards Matt Dzieduszycki and Derek Edwardson, along with defenseman Tim Hambly each scored in the team's fifth straight victory. Rookie goalie Mike McKenna made 29 saves to remain unbeaten in regulation at 6-0-1 on the season. With the win, Las Vegas inched to within two points of idle Alaska for first place in the West division.

This Week's Opponents-

Stockton Thunder - (5-9-3, 13 Points) - The Wranglers took the first meeting between the two teams on November 25th with a 3-2 win at the Orleans Arena. Right wing Joel Irwin leads the team in scoring with six goals and 14 assists for 20 points in 17 games.

THIRD ANNUAL MIDNIGHT HOLIDAAY ROUNDUP -

On December 22nd, 2003 the Las Vegas Wranglers made professional hockey history when they hosted the first Midnight Hockey game. This year the Wranglers will host the third annual Midnight Holiday Roundup on Monday, December 19th at 11:59 pm against the Long Beach Ice Dogs. The Wranglers will also host a blood drive in conjunction with the Midnight Game. The blood drive will take place from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Orleans Arena. Those who donate blood will receive vouchers for Penn and Teller tickets. Fans who attend the game may also bring toys for children as part of the annual Toy Roundup. All the toys will be donated to Olive Crest. Before the game and during the intermissions, Mini KISS will perform. Mini KISS is four vertically challenged imitators of the 70's band, KISS.
