The Chiefs gave up seven goals for the 2nd time in three games, as the Reading Royals converted early and often. J.B. Dmitri Tarabrin scored his 2nd goal in three games. Seven different Royals scored, with Grant Jacobsen leading the way with one goal and two assists. Brad Brust made the start in goal for Reading, and turned in a strong performance.

The Chiefs won their seventh game of the season, and picked up their first shut-out as Jonathan Boutin stopped all 31 shots he faced. Brandon Elliott was the talk of the town, after scoring a goal and engaging in a classic brawl with Wes Rypien of the Bombers. Justin Kelly continued his torrid scoring pace by netting the opening goal and later adding an assist. Joe Tallari added his 5th of the year, and Adam Henrich contributed a power play goal. J.B. Bittner added two assists. The win put the Chiefs 4 points ahead of cellar dwelling Dayton.

Game #23 (12/11/05) TOLEDO 7 ¡V Johnstown 1 Cey 36 saves

The third game in three days, after the long West Coast swing, was one the Chiefs would prefer to forget. A soft goal by Ken Magowan, just over five minutes into the game, set the tone for the Storm surge. Magowan had a pair of goals and assists, while Adam Keefe turned in his first multi-goal game as a professional. Joe Tallari scored his 2nd goal in two games, at 14:19 of period 2.
