Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans went 1-2-0 during the week, but were able to maintain their spot in third place in the North Division.

The Titans looked to finish their four-game homestand on the right note with a win against the Long Beach Ice Dogs, but two power play goals scored 44 seconds apart by Chris Kenady and Justin Aikins helped Long Beach to a 3-1 win over Trenton.

On Friday in the first ever meeting between Trenton and Gwinnett, the Titans jumped out to a 2-0 lead mid-way through the first period on goals by Mathieu Brunelle and Stephen Wood. From there it was all Gladiators, as they scored five-unanswered goals to defeat the Titans, 5-2.

The following night, the Titans and South Carolina Stingrays skated through a scoreless tie for 47:06 before Rosario Ruggeri's shorthanded goal put the Titans on the board. It was Aaron Wilson's first goal of the year, however, at 12:22 of the third period that proved to be the eventual game-winner in a 2-1 victory for Trenton.

The Titans finish a string of three consecutive road games with a match against the Johnstown Chiefs on Wednesday, December 14. Trenton then returns home to host the Dayton Bombers on Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17
