Andrew Engelage Recalled to Toronto

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that goaltender Andrew Engelage has been recalled to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. Utah hosts Las Vegas tonight at 7:05 p.m.

Engelage played ten games with the Marlies last year during his rookie season while also attending training camp this fall with their parent club the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 22-year-old second-year pro is tied for fifth in the ECHL with 18 wins, ranks fifth in the ECHL with a 2.56 goals-against-average, third in save percentage at .921 and fifth with 956 saves. He has been named the ECHL's goaltender of the week twice since January 1 and has totaled two shutouts this season.

Utah and Las Vegas meet again Saturday at 7:05 p.m. for Angel's Hands night and the fifth annual "Pooch on the Pond." Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game. The Grizzlies will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off live after the game with all proceeds going back to the Angel's Hands Foundation.
