Nailers Receive Murovich from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WHEELING, WV ¬" The Wheeling Nailers announced Friday that the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League have acquired the rights to forward Tyler Murovich and have assigned him to Wheeling. Murovich, has registered 10 points (4g, 6a) in 14 games with the Reading Royals this season.
He has also appeared in 25 games this season with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League posting two goals and two assists and 19 penalty minutes. The 5'9", 178-lb forward played five games for the Syracuse Crunch last season scoring six points. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Murovich played three seasons for the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League scoring 153 points (70g, 80a) in 189 career games.
Murovich is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Nailers battle the Reading Royals at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown. Game time is set for 7:35 p.m. Tune into The Mix 97.3, or at wheelingnailers.com. The next Nailers home game at WesBanco Arena is scheduled for Sunday, February 27 against Greenville beginning at 6:05 p.m. There will be a post game skate with the players.
