Game Notes: Tonight, the Rochester Americans will resume their five-game homestand with a rematch of last Saturday's showdown against their North Division rivals, the Hamilton Bulldogs. The 7:35 p.m. contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280-AM WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks. The game will also be the first sporting event broadcast live on the new Time Warner Sports Network - Channel 26.

Toys for Tots: At both games this week, the Amerks will continue their Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Fans that bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game will receive one free $16.00 ticket.

Head-to-Head: The season series is tied 1-1 between the two teams. The Amerks defeated the Bulldogs 6-3 last Saturday at The Blue Cross Arena in the second meeting between the two teams this season. In the first meeting, Hamilton trounced Rochester, 6-0, on November 25th. The Amerks are 51-39-8 all-time against the Bulldogs.

Amerks Notes: Rochester (19-5-1-0) is currently in first place in the North Division and is tied with the Chicago Wolves with the most points in the Western Conference. Forward Daniel Paille is currently on a six-game point streak (2+7). Paille has three goals and 12 assists in 16 games this season. Forward Clarke McArthur is riding a three-game point streak (1+3). MacArthur leads the Amerks with 27 points (10+17) in 24 games this season. He had two assists last Saturday in the Amerks' 6-3 win over Hamilton. Defenseman Andrej Sekera returns to the Amerks line-up tonight after spending a brief stint on recall with the Buffalo Sabres. In his last two games with the Amerks, Sekera has registered a total of three assists. He has five assists, but no goals this season. Forward Dylan Hunter is fifth among league rookies with a plus-10. Hunter has three assists in his last two games, and two goals and six assists in 17 games this season.

Hamilton Notes: The Bulldogs (15-10-0-1, 31 points) enter the game tied for second place in the North Division. The 'Dogs are 7-3-0-0 in their last 10 games. After tonight's game, Hamilton travels to play the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday. The Bulldogs will feature defenseman Mathieu Biron in his first game since being traded from San Jose earlier today. The 6-6, 230-pound blue liner is fourth among AHL defensemen with 18 points and third with 15 assists in 24 games.

Next Game: The Amerks will continue their homestand Saturday night with a 7:35 p.m. game against the Binghamton Senators at The Blue Cross Arena. The game will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280-AM WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks. The contest will also be televised tape delayed on TWSN.
