Ottawa returns Hennessy and Payer to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators today reassigned centers Serge Payer and Josh Hennessy to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

The 27-year-old Payer received his first emergency call-up of the season on Dec. 8. In four games with the Senators he recorded no points, two shots on goal and averaged 6:30 of ice time.

The 21-year-old Hennessy received his first emergency call-up of the season on Dec. 12, making his NHL debut against the Detroit Red Wings. In two games with the Senators, Hennessy recorded one shot on goal and averaged 6:33 of ice time.

The Senators take the ice tonight, as they host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05 p.m. Good seats are still available.
