
Americans Look for Weekend Sweep over the Rush

Rapid City, South Dakota - The Allen Americans (6-3-0) and Rapid City Rush (4-4-0) close a two-game weekend set tonight in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Puck drop from the Rushmore Civic Center in 8:05 pm CST.
Five and Counting - Allen Americans forward Chad Costello extended his point streak to five games with an assist last night. Costello's five-game streak ties Greger Hanson for the longest this season.
All Even - The Americans evened the road trip at 1-1 after last night's 4-1 victory. Allen will play seven of their first ten games away from Allen Event Center.
Dynamic Trio - The line of Daniel Doremus, Dyson Stevenson and Jean-Paul Lafontaine scored half of the Americans goals last night and finished with three points, six shots on goal, and a plus five for the evening.
Old Friends - Garrett Clarke faced his former team last night and finshed with no points. Nolan Descoteaux was a healthy scratch for the Rush, while Kale Kerbashian remains on the 21-day IR with a lower body injury.
Power Play Sighting - The Americans scored just their fifth power play goal of the season last night going 1-2 with the man advantage. The Americans moved up to 19th overall in the ECHL at 12.8 %.
