MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals continue their southern swing tonight in the second of a back-to-back weekend with the South Carolina Stingrays. Last night, the Jackals silenced the Stingrays behind a 32-save shutout performance from C.J. Motte and goals from Tyler Currier and Mike Seidel. The shutout was Motte's first as a professional and the win was his first as a Jackal. Currier's goal was his third in as many games since joining the Jackals via a trade with Orlando. Last night's tilt was the first meeting between Elmira and South Carolina since April 11, 2014. Tonight is the final meeting of the season between the Jackals and Stingrays. In 22 all-time matchups the Jackals have won eight and lost three in extra time.
