Minnesota Lynx Announce Xcel Energy Center as Home for 2017 Season

July 21, 2016 - MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced that the Xcel Energy Center will be the team's venue for home games during the 2017 season. The team will relocate due to the previously announced major renovation and complete shutdown of Target Center taking place during the summer and early fall of 2017. July 17, 2016 - MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Nneka Enemkpali to a seven-day contract. Enemkpali, a 6-1 forward, was drafted by Seattle in the third round (26th overall) of the 2015 WNBA Draft but sat out the season while recovering from a knee injury suffered during her senior season at the University of Texas. July 11, 2016 - MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The WNBA today named Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played July 4 through July 10. The Player of the Week award is Moore's third of the season and the 17th of her career. Minnesota went 2-1 on the week, improving to 16-4 overall for its second-best record ever at the 20-game mark.
