Energy Can't Make up Ground, Fall to Bighorns

December 10, 2016 - Reno Events Center- The Iowa Energy couldn't come back from a 10 point, first quarter deficit Friday evening in Reno, falling to the Bighorns 115-99. Reno led all but the first minute of the game. Kalin Lucas finished with a season-high 10 assists and 26 points, earning his first double-double of the season. JaKarr Sampson, Wayne Selden Jr. and Quinton Chievous recorded 16 points each in the loss. Chievous had a team-high 15 points at halftime and finished the night 6 of 9 from the field. Energy Lose in Final Seconds to Fort Wayne

November 27, 2016 - Fort Wayne, Ind.- The Iowa Energy (2-6) lost in the waning seconds of Sunday afternoon's contest to the unbeaten Fort Wayne Mad Ants (5-0) 95-94. Julyan Stone made a contested layup with 2.1 seconds remaining to give the Mad Ants the lead. Energy Can't Hold Onto Lead in Fourth, Fall to Canton

November 25, 2016 - Canton, Ohio- After leading for much of the game, the Iowa Energy (2-5) gave up a 14-3 run to start the fourth quarter during a 106-100 loss Friday night to the Canton Charge (2-4). Tonight was the lone matchup of the season between the two teams, formerly of the same division until realignment moved the Energy to the Southwest Division this season. Big Third Quarter Propels Energy over Drive

November 23, 2016 - Walker, Mich.- The Iowa Energy outscored the Grand Rapids Drive 33-14 in the third quarter on their way to a 99-91 win Wednesday evening. The victory marked the Energy's first road win of the season. The 93 points allowed to Grand Rapids was the lowest total offensively for the Drive this season. The Energy were led offensively by Wayne Selden Jr.'s 24-point performance, just one night after recording a season-high 30 points against Westchester.
