July 15, 2026 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Payton Schaly for the 2026-27 season. Schaly, 25, from Barrie, Ontario, is turning pro after a career year in his senior season at NCAA D-III Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. In just 21 games last season, Schaly rebounded from a down year in 2024-25 where he was held without a goal to post a career-high in all categories with 23 points, 12 goals and 11 assists. Marksmen Trade Marcus Fechko's Rights to Pee Dee

July 14, 2026 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Tuesday that the team has dealt the rights to forward Marcus Fechko to Pee Dee for future considerations. In 23 games for Fayetteville after being claimed off waivers from the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, Marcus had 17 points (8 g, 9 a) for the Marksmen. Marksmen Sign Pringle for Rookie Season

July 8, 2026 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Evan Pringle for the 2026-27 season. Pringle, 25, from San Jose, Calif., made his professional debut last season with the Marksmen after four years at NCAA D-III SUNY-Canton, where he was a constant offensive threat. Kenny Returns for Fourth Season in Fayetteville

July 1, 2026 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday that they have signed goaltender Ryan Kenny for the 2026-27 season. Kenny, 26, from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is one of the longest tenured active players with the Fayetteville Marksmen, and his 95 games played is the most by a Marksmen goaltender.
