Abbotsford Takes Game One of the Calder Cup Playoffs with a 4-3 Double OT Thriller

June 13, 2025 - The wait is over, and the Calder Cup Finals are officially underway. Game One went down on Friday night at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Abbotsford Canucks settled the rest versus rust debate with a commanding 4-3 victory in the opening game of the finals! Blackhawks Acquire Ryan Mast from Bruins

June 13, 2025 - The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has acquired defenseman Ryan Mast and Boston's own 2025 seventh-round pick from the Boston Bruins in exchange for defenseman Victor Soderstrom. Mast, 22, registered five assists in 37 regular-season games with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2024-25 campaign, setting career highs in games played, assists and points. Ducks Sign Lucas Pettersson to Three-Year Entry-Level Contract

June 13, 2025 - SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed center Lucas Pettersson to a three-year entry-level contract. Pettersson will play for Brynas of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) during the 2025-26 season. Pettersson, 19 (4/17/06), split the 2024-25 season between MoDo (SHL), MoDo Jr. (Sweden Jr.) and Ostersunds (HockeyAllsvenskan).
