March 25, 2025 - TROIS-RIVIÈRES - (Montreal Canadiens affiliate) Lions de Trois-Rivières have signed defenceman Kyle Havlena.
The Kirkland, Quebec native spent the last four seasons with the Concordia University Stingers, recording 32 points in 96 games.
Before launching his university career, the 5'10" / 196-pound D-man played close to 200 games in the QMJHL, including 146 with the Cape Breton Eagles where he was the team's assistant captain.

March 25, 2025 - SHREWSBURY, N.J. - Logan Nijhoff of the Trois-Rivières Lions is the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for March 17-23.
Nijhoff scored six goals and added two assists for eight points in three games last week.
The 23-year-old had a hat trick and added an assist in a 6-1 win against Adirondack on Friday, and after being held off the scoresheet in a 5-4 overtime loss at Worcester on Saturday, posted another hat trick and an assist in a 5-4 loss to the Railers on Sunday.

March 23, 2025 - The second game between the Lions and Railers in Worcester in less than 24 hours held plenty of promise after the Railers thrilling comeback win on Saturday night. Worcester was looking to collect the maximum number of points over the weekend to help towards their push to qualify for the playoffs, while the Lions were out to solidify their first-place position in the North Division as well as to contend for top spot in the ECHL's overall standings.

After defeating the Adirondack Thunder 6-1 at Colisée Vidéotron on Friday night, Trois-Rivières boarded the bus and made their way to Worcester, Massachusetts to take on the Railers for a pair of weekend games.
