September 8, 2025 - TROIS-RIVIÈRES - The Trois-Rivières Lions (affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) have reached an agreement with defenseman Wyatt McLeod. The 6'3'' blueliner joined the Lions at the start of training camp in October 2024 and quickly established himself as a defensive cornerstone. During the regular season, he recorded 1 goal and 22 assists for 23 points in 65 games. Trois-Rivières and Québec Will Co-Host the 2029 IIHF World Junior Championship

September 4, 2025 - QUEBEC CITY, Quebec - Following an agreement with Gestev, Hockey Canada and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) have announced that Centre Vidéotron and Quebec City will host the 2027 IIHF Women's World Championship and the 2029 IIHF World Junior Championship. September 2, 2025 - TROIS-RIVIÈRES - The Trois-Rivières Lions' front office has been busy during the off-season. In addition to signing contracts with about a dozen players, management has also reached agreements with equipment manager Cam Batty, athletic therapist Mark Petrin, and video coach and hockey operations coordinator Taylor Roberts. August 22, 2025 - TROIS-RIVIÈRES - The Trois-Rivières Lions (affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) have signed forward Logan Nijhoff to a new contract. The forward was a key part of the Lions' success last season, tallying 25 goals and 24 assists for 49 points in 58 games. He added 3 goals and 9 assists for 12 points during the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
