February 4, 2026 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday the signing of defenseman Ethan Hawes.
Hawes, 23, started this season with the Evansville Thunderbolts, appearing in four games.
Prior to beginning his SPHL career, the Newcastle, Australia native split last season between Eindhoven Kemphanen in Netherlands2 and the Newcastle Northstars in the AIHL. February 4, 2026 - HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The SPHL announced today that goaltenders Nick Latinovich and Connor McAnanama of the Peoria Rivermen have been named Warrior Hockey SPHL Co-Players of the Week for January 26-February 1.
In a defensive battle between the top two teams in the SPHL, the duo stopped 74 of 75 shots, leading the Rivermen to a road sweep of Huntsville and extending Peoria's winning streak to 12 games. Since losing to Knoxville 3-1 on December 12, Peoria is 18-0-1, with eight of its wins coming by one goal.

February 4, 2026 - PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Rivermen this week announced, in conjunction with the SPHL, that goaltenders Nick Latinovich and Connor McAnanama have been named SPHL/Warrior Hockey Co-Players of the Week by the SPHL. Thanks to their efforts, the Rivermen picked up a road sweep of the Huntsville Havoc and extended their winning streak to 12 games in a row, tied for second all-time in league history.
