Austin FC Trades Dani Pereira to CF Montréal for up to $2.35 Million in General Allocation Money
July 2, 2026 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club has traded midfielder Dani Pereira to CF Montréal in exchange for $1.4 million in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM), $700,000 in 2027 GAM, and up to $250,000 in conditional GAM. Austin also retains a sell-on percentage of a potential future transfer.

June 30, 2026 - Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club signed free agent winger Przemysław Płacheta. Płacheta, 28, joins on a deal guaranteed through the 2028-29 season with an option for 2029-30. Płacheta has received his P-1 visa and can begin full team training on July 1 when his contract with Austin FC officially begins. Weirdos Score a Win over Martinez
June 28, 2026 - The Austin Weirdos beat the Martinez Sturgeon 5-2 on June 28, 2026.
Austin scored two runs in the second inning and two more in the third to take control early. The Weirdos added an insurance run in the ninth inning.
Gabriel Corniel led Austin with three RBIs. Sean Tanaka scored twice and had two hits, while Jake Lucas added two hits, including a double.

June 17, 2026 - Austin Weirdos defeated the Bakersfield Train Robbers 14-10 on June 16, 2026.
Austin used big innings early to take control, scoring 4 runs in the 2nd, 3 runs in the 3rd, and 4 more in the 4th. The Weirdos added 3 runs in the 7th and finished with 14 runs on 15 hits.
Cory Lilnens led Austin with a home run, double and 5 RBIs. Austin Sargent also homered and drove in 4 runs, while Alex Lopez went 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored and an RBI. Chris Tsouras added 2 doubles and an RBI.
