
Wranglers start six-game homestand Tuesday

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 1-0-1 record this past week starting with a 7-1 victory over the Alaska Aces at the Orleans Arena last Tuesday night. Las Vegas was defeated in a shootout 3-2 at Utah on Saturday night.
The Wranglers return to the Orleans Arena to start a six-game home stand starting this Tuesday with the San Diego Gulls at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will hand out 2,000 "The Duke" dodgeballs on Friday, February 17th, when they host Fresno at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will round out this weekend by welcoming in the Utah Grizzlies at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. Prior to the game from 4:30-6:30 fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 7-1 last Tuesday night at the Orleans Arena in front of 4,705 fans. Left wing Dan Tudin scored three goals for his second hat trick of the season. Center Matt Dzieduszycki also scored, while dishing out two assists. Las Vegas goaltender Marc Magliarditi made 22 saves for his 22nd win of the season and 202nd of his career, moving him into second place on the ECHL's all-time list of victories. Forwards Chris Stanley and Marco Peluso each registered a goal and an assist in the route. Sean O'Connor and Nick Anderson assisted on two goals a piece, as 12 different Wranglers posted at least a point or more.

West Valley, UT - The Las Vegas Wranglers were edged by the Utah Grizzlies 3-2 in a shootout at the E-Center on Saturday night. Utah's D.J. Jellitto ended the shootout in the seventh round, breaking a 1-1 shootout tie and giving the Grizzlies the win. Wranglers forwards Dan Tudin and Steve Crampton each scored in the Wranglers second shootout loss of the season. Center Matt Dzieduszycki stretched his scoring streak to five with two assists.
Marr Assined By Omaha, Sloan Heads to Manitoba
The Las Vegas Wranglers announced Tuesday that defenseman Steve Marr was been assigned by the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League. The team also announced on Wednesday that defensemen Tyler Sloan was loaned to Manitoba of the AHL.
Steve Marr made his Las Vegas Wranglers and ECHL debut Saturday night in Utah. Marr played 29 games in Omaha this season, registering no points and 29 penalty minutes. The first-year defenseman is the former captain of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He played in 242 games in the WHL posting 44 points on 16 goals and 28 assists while adding 330 penalty minutes.
Sloan departed after 29 games with the Wranglers. The 24-year old notched two goals and dished out 11 assists for 13 points. The Calgary native missed 17 games from December 18th to January 25th due to an injury. Sloan returned to the AHL after splitting time between Syracuse (AHL) and Dayton (ECHL) over the last three seasons.

San Diego Gulls - (19-20-5, 43 Points) - The Wranglers are 3-0-0 against the Gulls this season, outscoring San Diego 18-7 in the three previous meetings. San Diego will venture to Las Vegas with only 14 players due to a rash of injuries. Las Vegas center Matt Dzieduszycki leads the series in scoring with three goals and six assists for nine points in three games. San Diego goaltenders have combined for a 6.10 goals against average versus Las Vegas.
Fresno Falcons - (29-8-10, 50 Points) - The Wranglers are 3-0-0 against the Falcons this season, outscoring Fresno 14-5 in the three previous meetings. The Falcons have the fourth best record in the ECHL. Right wing Luke Curtin leads the team in scoring with 58 (16G-42A) points in 47 games played.
Utah Grizzlies - (26-19-4, 56 Points) - The Wranglers are 2-1-2 against the Grizzlies this season, outscoring Utah 20-18. The Grizzlies are 10-9-2 on the road and 5-4-1 in their last 10 games played. Ryan Kinasewich leads the team in scoring with 50 points (24G-26A) in 38 games played.
