ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades dropped finished off this past week with a 2-0-0 record, which puts their overall mark at 29-14-3 (61 pts., 2nd South Division).

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Tuesday & Wednesday, February 14 & 15 vs. Greenville Grrrowl Both Games 7:30 p.m. GAME NOTES: The Everblades host the Greenville Grrrowl for a pair of games at Germain Arena this week. The games will be the third and fourth of six meetings between the South Division rivals. The two teams haven't played since November. Florida is 1-1-0 vs. Greenville this season. The Grrrowl won the first meeting 3-1 on Nov. 22 at Germain Arena, and the 'Blades collected a 6-3 win at Greenville on Nov. 26. The Everblades have converted on 33 % of their power plays vs. Greenville this season, and have killed off 10 of 11 Grrrowl opportunities with the man advantage in the two games. The Grrrowl enter this week's action with a record of 27-16-2 (56 pts., 3rd South Division) and are 13-8-1 on the road this season. The Everblades have an all-time record of 30-16-4 vs. Greenville, and are 13-9-2 all-time at home vs. the Grrrowl.

Friday & Saturday, February 17 & 18 at Gwinnett Gladiators Both Games 7:35 p.m. GAME NOTES: The Everblades travel to Gwinnett to take on the Gladiators for a two-game weekend series. The South Division rivals have met six times this season, with Florida posting a 2-3-1 records. The first two games of the season series were played in Gwinnett with the Gladiators winning both by scores of 5-2 and 3-1. The last four meetings have been at Germain Arena, with the Everblades winning the first two by scored of 6-4 and 5-2. Gwinnett has won the last two games, 5-4 in overtime on Dec. 30 and 5-2 on Dec. 31. The Gladiators enter this week's action with a record of 33-10-5 (71 pts., 1st South Division) and are 9-1-0 in their last 10 games. On home ice, the Gladiators are 20-2-2. The Everblades have an all-time record of 6-8-4 vs. Gwinnett, and are 2-6-0 all-time on the road vs. the Gladiators.

Sunday, February 19 at Columbia Inferno 5:05 p.m. GAME NOTES: The Everblades take on the Inferno for the fourth of eight times when they meet on Sunday. The game will be the third of four at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. The Everblades are 2-0-1 vs. the Inferno this season, including going 1-0-1 in Columbia this year. The Everblades picked up a 3-0 win at Columbia on Nov. 23 and earned a tie after losing in overtime 4-3 on Dec. 17. The lone meeting between the teams at Germain Arena ended with a 5-4 overtime Florida win. The Everblades have limited Columbia to just one power play goal in 16 chances. The Inferno enter this week's action with a record of 18-28-5 (41 pts., 7th South Division) and are 11-12-2 on home ice. The Everblades have an all-time record of 14-10-6 vs. Columbia, and are 6-8-2 all-time on the road vs. the Inferno.

Friday, February 10 at Pensacola Ice Pilots 3-1 Win The Everblades improved their record to 8-0-0 over the Pensacola Ice Pilots this season with a 3-1 victory on Friday night at the Pensacola Civic Center. The Ice Pilots scored the lone first period goal at 7:57, jamming a loose puck past Everblades goaltender Phil Osaer at the right post. Florida answered back with a power play goal in the second period. Reggie Berg, who was playing in his first game since opening night on Oct. 28, tied the game with his first goal of the season at 11:59 of the frame. Anders Stome put Florida on top for good 4:01 into the third period wristing his sixth goal of the season inside the right post, and Brandon Coalter added some insurance notching his fourth goal of the year with six minutes remaining in the third period. In goal, Osaer picked up the win by stopping 26 of 27 Pensacola shots to raise his record to 14-7-2. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-for-3; PK: 0-for-2.

Saturday, February 11 at Pensacola Ice Pilots 6-0 Win The Everblades picked up goals from six different players and goaltender Kevin Nastiuk earned his first professional shutout in a 6-0 victory over the Pensacola Ice Pilots on Saturday night at the Pensacola Civic Center. The win improved Florida's record to 9-0-0 vs. Pensacola this season. The Everblades jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after the first 20 minutes. Reggie Berg opened the scoring by ripping a slap shot from the left circle at 11:17 of the frame. The Everblades extended their lead to 2-0 just 1:35 later when Phil Aucoin scooped up a rebound off a Martin Tuma shot at 12:52 of the opening period. In the second period the Everblades tallied three more times to open a 5-0 advantage after two periods. Dustin Johner gave the 'Blades a 3-0 lead with a power play goal at 9:25 of the period. Dan Sisca followed with his team-leading 18th goal of the season at 15:55 and former Ice Pilot Corey Neilson opened the five-goal lead with a 4-on-3 power play goal at 17:03. In the third period Steve Saviano closed out the scoring with a short-handed tally with 1:51 remaining in the contest. Nastiuk turned away a season-high 49 shots against to earn his first pro shutout, and the Everblades' fourth shutout on the year. The win improved the rookie's record to 3-1-1. Florida Special Teams: PP: 2-for-5; PK: 0-for-7.

Weekly Award Nominee: This week's Everblades ECHL Player of Week nominee is Reggie Berg who scored three points (2g, 1a) in Florida's two games this past week. Berg tallied a power play goal in Friday's win and added the game winning goal in Saturday's victory over Pensacola. The Everblades ECHL goaltender of the week nominee is Kevin Nastiuk who earned his first professional shutout in his lone start this weekend, blanking the Ice Pilots 6-0, turning away 49 shots in the process.
