50 For Campbell! Forward Jeff Campbell recorded his 50th professional goal in the Gladiators 4-3 win over the Trenton Titans on Sunday afternoon. Campbell becomes just the second Gladiator to reach 50 goals in a Gladiators career joining Chris Durno who hit the mark in a 5-1 win over the Charlotte Checkers on November 22nd.

Two ain't nuthin'! The Gladiators overcame a two goal deficit to post a 4-3 come from behind win over the Trenton Titans on Sunday afternoon at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. For the Gladiators, it was the 9th time this season that the Gladiators were able to rally from two goals down and post a win.

York with Three - Matt York posted three goals for the Gladiators in Gwinnett's 6-0 win over the Columbia Inferno on Friday night. It was York's first professional hat trick and just the fifth multiple point game of the season for the rookie out of Ferris State University. York's four points was also a career high for the forward who had posted no more than two points in a game for the Gladiators this season prior to Friday's contest.

It was a Fields' Day - Netminder Sean Fields made 22 saves to help the Gladiators past the Columbia Inferno 6-0 on Friday night at the Carolina Coliseum. For Fields, it was his fourth career shutout and the third shutout of the season for the netminder out of Edmonton, Alberta. Fields needs one more shutout to tie the all time team record for most shutouts in one season held by Michael Garnett set during the Gladiators inaugural 2003-04 season.

Best as a Gladiator! Gladiators captain Cam Brown notched three assists for the Gladiators in Friday's 6-0 win over the Columbia Inferno. For Brown, that set a career high with the Gladiators for most assists in a game. Brown had two assists for the Gladiators in two different games during the 2003-04 season and posted two assists just once last year. Brown's three points in the win was also a career high with Gwinnett for most points in a game. The last time Brown posted three assists in a game was with the Baton Rouge Kingfish in a 7-5 win over the Macon Whoopee on December 12th during the 2001-02 season.

Getting High! Gladiators forward Milan Gajic recorded a career high 4 points in the Gladiators 6-1 win over the Greenville Grrrowl on Tuesday night. Gajic recorded a point on each of the Gladiators first four goals as he finished with 2 goals and 2 assists for Gwinnett. The Burnaby, BC native eclipsed his previous career high of three points which he had recorded four times this season.

February 7th, Gladiators 6, Greenville 1 - W

The Gladiators set a new team record for consecutive wins with their eighth straight victory in the contest. Milan Gajic had two goals and two assists for the Gladiators picking up a point on each of Gwinnett's first four goals. Steve Slaton recorded the game winner with 49 seconds left in the first period. Rick Emmett finished with a goal and two assists, his first points back since coming off of the 30-day IR. Derek Nesbitt extended his point scoring streak to 8 games with a goal and an assist while Tuomas Tarkki made 24 saves for his 4th win with the Gladiators.

February 10th, Gladiators 6, Columbia 0 - W

The Gladiators pushed their franchise best winning streak to nine games with the shutout win over the Inferno. Matt York posted his first professional hat trick scoring the only two goals in the second period and had the last goal of the contest. Derek Nesbitt scored Gwinnett's 5th goal of the game to push his point scoring streak to nine games while Cam Brown had three helpers in the win. Sean Fields made 22 saves for his third shutout of the season. Milan Gajic finished with a goal and an assist for Gwinnett and Brad Schell had two helpers for the Gladiators.

February 11th, South Carolina 5, Gladiators 3 - L

Brad Schell posted three assists but it wasn't enough to help the Gladiators overcome three South Carolina power play goals in the loss. Gwinnett trailed by two goals late in the second period but markers by Jon Awe and Milan Gajic with less than two minutes to go late in the period, both coming on a 5-on-3 power play tied the game at three. South Carolina scored twice within the first five minutes of the third period to put the game away. Adam Smyth had Gwinnett's first goal early in the first period. The loss snapped the Gladiators franchise best winning streak at nine games. Sean Fields made 28 saves for Gwinnett in the loss.

February 12th, Gladiators 4, Trenton 3 - W

Jeff Campbell scored a pair of goals including is 50th career goal to help the Gladiators overcome a 3-1 third period deficit to beat the Titans. It was the 9th time this season that Gwinnett overcame a 2-goal deficit to post a win. Jon Awe had the game winner with 1:09 remaining in the third period with a power play goal on a slap shot from the point. Scott Mifsud had the Gladiators first tally of the game which at the time tied the contest at one. Trenton opened up a 3-1 lead before Gwinnett began the come back midway through the third. Adam Berkhoel made 21 saves for his third win with the Gladiators.

Tuesday, February 14th @ Augusta Lynx, 7:35 p.m. - WDUN, News Talk 550 (tentative)

Gwinnett is still searching for it's first win against the Lynx in Augusta this season. Gwinnett is 3-2-1 against the Lynx this season but both regulation losses in the series have come at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center. Guillaume Desbiens, currently on recall to the Chicago Wolves, leads Gwinnett in scoring against the Lynx with 7 points off 3 goals and 4 assists.

It a meeting of the top two teams in the American Conference's South Division. Gwinnett can expand its lead with a pair of wins over Florida. Gwinnett leads the season series against the Everblades by a 4-2-0 record. The Gladiators swept the Everblades in the first two-game set at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on November 11th and 12th. Gwinnett is now 12-4-2 against the Everblades since relocating to Gwinnett from Mobile.
