Sat., Feb. 4 (at) Omaha 4, Chicago 0 --- Ak-Sar-Ben Knights goaltender BRENT KRAHN stopped all 37 shots he faced as Omaha dealt the Wolves a 4-0 shutout loss at the Omaha Civic Auditorium --- Netminder MICHAEL GARNETT tallied 27 saves

Fri., Feb. 3 Chicago 4, (at) Omaha 3 --- The Wolves grabbed a 3-2 late second-period lead and held on to defeat the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, 4-3, at the Omaha Civic Auditorium --- Left wing KARL STEWART paced the team with two assists while forwards RAMZI ABID, STEPHEN BABY and BILLY TIBBETTS and defenseman MARK POPOVIC tallied goals --- Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT registered 20 saves on 23 shots

--- KARL STEWART: Matched a season-high two assists on Friday against Omaha after being held off the scoresheet in his previous three outings ... Shares second on the squad with 12 goals in 38 games - just four shy of matching the career-high 16 he notched in 77 contests last season ... Tied for third on the squad with a +9 plus/minus rating.

-- MARK POPOVIC: Registered four points (2G, 2A) in his last four games after being held to four (2G, 2A) in his previous eight ... Paces team defensemen and ranks sixth on the Wolves with 24 points in 43 games, which matches the career-high 24 he set in 73 games with the AHL's Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in 2002-03, his rookie year ... Tallied a career-high eight goals this year after entering the season with eight goals in 221 career AHL games

--- RAMZI ABID: Held to four points (2G, 2A) in his last five games after notching 11 (5G, 6A) in his previous five ... Shares fifth in the AHL with a team-high 13 power-play goals and 14th with a team-most 49 points ... Paces the club with 24 goals - two shy of equaling the career-high 26 he set in 78 games with the AHL's Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins last season - and 25 assists

--- BILLY TIBBETTS: Collected the short-handed, game-winning goal on Friday against Omaha, his first marker in four contests ... Tied for first on the squad with three game- winning tallies and leads the Wolves with 152 penalty minutes in 23 tilts ... Shares second on the club with 12 goals

--- PAT DWYER: Shares the team-lead among rookies and fourth on the club with 25 points in 42 games ... Paces team rookies and ranks sixth on the Wolves with 10 goals ... Tied for first on the squad and second among AHL rookies with two short-handed markers

--- STEPHEN BABY: Tallied a goal on Friday, his first since Jan. 15, a span of seven games ... Posted 22 points in 38 outings this season, four shy of the career-high 26 he registered in 68 games with the Wolves in 2003-04, his rookie season ... Shares sixth on the squad with 15 assists

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago has outshot its opponents, 182-111, over the last five games, but has been outscored, 19-8 (1-4-0-0).

--- Twenty-one of Chicago's 46 games this season (45.7 percent) have been decided by one goal; last year, 40 of the team's 80 tilts (50.0 percent) were decided by one marker.

--- Chicago shares second in the AHL with eight short-handed goals on the road and third in the league with 10 shorties overall.

--- Starting on Tuesday, the Wolves will play five games in six nights in four different cities, after skating in just five contests in their previous 16 days.

SHOOTING BLANKS

Saturday's 4-0 loss against Omaha marked the second time in five games the Wolves were shut out. Prior to that span, Chicago had been held scoreless just twice in its previous 88 regular-season tilts, dating back to last year.

NOTABLE

The Wolves wives will be selling Valentine's Day autographed pucks during home games on Wed., Feb. 8; Sat., Feb. 11; Wed., Feb. 22; and Sat., Feb. 25. The specially wrapped pucks, which hold candy and are autographed by a surprise Wolves player, can be purchased for $10. Fans who buy a puck that has the Wolves player's name signed in gold will have the chance to meet that player after the game.
