Milwaukee, WI- The American Hockey League announced today that Milwaukee Admirals left wing Scottie Upshall has been named the CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 5, 2006. In two games last week, Upshall posted six points (4g-2a), including a hat trick, and was +5 as the Admirals picked up three of a possible four points versus the top two teams in the Western Conference.
On Friday the Fort McMurray, ALTA native posted a goal and an assist as the Ads fell to Grand Rapids 5-4 in OT. Saturday night Upshall almost single handedly beat the Houston Aeros to pull Milwaukee within four points of Aeros in the West.
