
Knights Assign Marr to Las Vegas

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that defenseman Steve Marr has been re-assigned to the Las Vegas Wranglers, the Knights' ECHL affiliate.
Marr has played in 29 games for the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights this season, registering no points and 29 penalty minutes. He is in his first professional season. He made his professional hockey debut on October 8th at Iowa. Marr is the former captain of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He played in 242 games in the WHL posting 44 points on 16 goals and 28 assists while adding 330 penalty minutes. The 6'2" 207 lbs. native of Kamloops, BC helped the Tigers capture a WHL Championship and a spot in the 2004 Memorial Cup. In 44 playoff games, Marr collected nine points and 94 PIM.
The Knights are on the road this weekend taking on the Manitoba Moose on Friday and Saturday, February 10th and 11th at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Both games can be heard live on 1420 AM KOTK and at omahaaksarbenknights.com. The game also can be watched on-line through the link to B2 Networks on the Knights' home page. The Knights return home to host the San Antonio Rampage on Thursday, February 16th at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for all home games are available at the Civic Auditorium box office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office is open through the opening face-off on game nights.
