ROAD WARRIORS
Starting with Friday's contest in Iowa, the Wolves will play eight of their next nine games away from the Allstate Arena. The Wolves, who are 2-1-1-0 on the road this season, shared fourth in the AHL last season with a .637 winning percentage on the road (24-13-1-2).
WOLVES HEADLINES
--- ONDREJ PAVELEC: Has allowed just 12 goals in seven straight starts (4-2-1) ... Ranks fifth in the AHL with a .941 save percentage and sixth with a 1.69 goals-against average ... Held opponents to two or fewer goals in six of seven contests this year ... Recorded a 33-16-3 record in 52 outings with the Wolves last season ... Led rookie goaltenders and ranked second in the league with 33 wins, the second most in franchise history
--- JOE MOTZKO: Ranks first on the team with three goals and six points in seven games this season ... Shares second on the squad with three assists ... Accrued five points (3G, 2A) in his current four-game point streak ... Ranked third on the Wolves and 14th in the American Hockey League with a career-high 70 points in 72 regular-season games last season, which includes 21 goals and 48 points in 44 games with the Hershey Bears
--- MATT ANDERSON: Dished out two assists on Sunday ... Paces the Wolves with four assists and ranks second with five points in five outings this year ... Leads the team and shares ninth in the AHL with a +6 plus/minus rating ... Tallied two points (G, A) in 14 games with the Wolves last year and 14 goals, 15 assists and 39 points in 37 matchups with Gwinnett (ECHL)
--- JUNIOR LESSARD: Tallied a team season-high two goals on Saturday, his first points as a member of the Wolves ... Registered the club's only marker in the shootout on Sunday ... Recorded two penalty minutes in two games with the NHL's Dallas Stars and two points (G, A) in 19 outings with the Tampa Bay Lightning last season ... Registered 16 goals and 36 points in 55 AHL outings with the Norfolk Admirals and Iowa Stars last year.
WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves have held their opponents to just 13 goals through the first seven outings this season (1.86 per game), which leads the American Hockey League.
--- Chicago thwarted all four of Rockford's power-play chances on Sunday, the third time this season the team has not allowed a man-advantage marker. The Wolves rank eighth in the league on the penalty kill at 86.5 percent (32 of 37).
--- The Wolves allowed a season-low 21 shots at Milwaukee on Sunday. Chicago has outgunned its opponents four times this season (2-1-0-1).
--- After averaging just one goal per contest through the first three games of the season, Chicago has exploded for 13 markers over its last four games. The Wolves share 24th in the AHL with an average of 2.29 goals-per-game.
--- Sunday's shootout loss snapped a season high four-game win streak; the Wolves have collected a point in five straight outings.
--- The Wolves have converted just three times in 43 chances on the power-play this year (7.0 percent). Last year, Chicago potted a league-high 107 power-play markers and shared third in the AHL on the man-advantage at 20.8 percent (107 of 514).
THINK PINK
--- The Wolves will take to the ice with special pink sticks in warmups for their Wed., Oct. 29 game. The sticks will then be autographed and auctioned off throughout the game. Fans will also be able to purchase a "Stick It To Breast Cancer" T-shirt for a $20 donation and the Wolves encourage fans to wear pink to the game that night. Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Strength and other Chicagoland charities.

Rockford 3, (at) Chicago 2 (SO)
--- Right Wing JOE MOTZKO tallied twice in regulation but the Wolves could only convert on one of seven attempts in the shootout, suffering an eventual 3-2 loss to the Rockford IceHogs at the Allstate Arena Sunday night.
--- Center MATT ANDERSON assisted on both of MOTZKO's goals and right wing JUNIOR LESSARD notched the lone shootout tally for the Wolves.
--- Goaltender ONDREJ PAVELEC turned away 29 of 31 shots in regulation and overtime and five of seven attempts in the shootout.
Sat., Oct. 25
Chicago 5, (at) Milwaukee 3
--- The Wolves posted a pair of third-period goals to break a 3-3 tie and sink the Milwaukee Admirals, 5-3, at the Bradley Center Saturday night.
--- Right wing JUNIOR LESSARD (2G), JOE MOTZKO (GW), CHAD DENNY and GRANT STEVENSON all tickled the twine.
--- Netminder ONDREJ PAVELEC stopped 18 shots for his fourth straight win.
Tue., Oct. 21

--- The Wolves used a pair of shorthanded markers in the third period to collect their third straight win, 3-1, over the San Antonio Rampage at the Allstate Arena Tuesday night.
--- Right wing JOEY CRABB notched the game-winner, while forwards SPENCER MACHACEK and JORDAN LaVALLEE posted the other tallies
--- Goaltender ONDREJ PAVELEC came within 5:52 of posting his second shutout in three games; he made 32 saves in the win.
