--- BILLY TIBBETTS: Recorded three points (2G, A) in his first two games with the Wolves after signing with the team last Wednesday ... Collected five goals, 11 points and 55 penalty minutes in 13 contests with the UHL's Rockford IceHogs this year
--- KIP MILLER: Posted five assists and six points in his last three games, which includes notching a team season-high four points (G, 3A) last Friday against Peoria ... Shares second on the squad with 10 assists and fourth with two power-play tallies in 14 tilts ... Tied for fifth on the team with 12 points
--- PAT DWYER: Tallied a professional career-high two goals on Sunday after being held without a point in his previous 10 contests ... Registered seven points (4G, 3A) in 18 outings this season ... Collected four assists and eight penalty minutes in 14 games last year with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators during his pro debut
--- JANI HURME: Collected two wins last weekend, his first victories since the 2002-03 season with the NHL's Florida Panthers after missing the last two seasons due to injury ... Posted a 2-2-0 mark, a 3.68 goals-against average and a .859 save percentage in four appearances this year
WOLF TRACKS
--- Chicago has earned five of a possible six points in its last three games (2-0-0-1) after dropping its previous four contests.
--- The Wolves thwarted all six of Peoria's power-play opportunities on Sunday, the fourth time this season the team has been perfect on the penalty kill.
--- Chicago's shootout loss on Saturday was its third of the season; last year, the team posted a 4-2 mark in the shootout
--- The Wolves rank third in the AHL with seven short-handed goals in 22 games this season; five of the shorties have come on the road, which is tied for the league lead. Last season, Chicago did not collect its first short-handed tally until its 27th game.
THE LATE SHOW
The Wolves have outscored their opponents, 8-1, in the third period over the last three games after being outscored, 10-3, during that stretch in the previous three. Chicago tallied four third-frame markers on Friday, the most goals the team has scored in a single stanza this season.
NOTABLE
NHL Hall-of-Fame left wing BOBBY HULL will be in uniform when the Wolves battle the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. During the game, the Wolves will be raffling and auctioning memorabilia signed by HULL with proceeds benefiting local Chicago-area children's charities.
