Moose Sign Centomo to AHL Contract

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed goaltender Sebastien Centomo to an American Hockey League contract.

Centomo, 24, appeared in two games with the Moose this season, recording his fifth American Hockey League shutout Nov. 26/05 at Cleveland when he stopped all 15 shots he faced. Centomo won both games and has a 1.44 goals against average along with a .917 save percentage. In 10 games so far this season with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the CHL, the Laval, PQ native has a mark of 5-5-0 with a goals against average of 3.09 and a save percentage of .908. Centomo has appeared in 83 career games in the American Hockey League - all with the St. John's Maple Leafs from 2001-04. He has a career AHL goals against average of 3.12 and a save percentage of .905. Centomo has also appeared in one game with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2001-02 where he stopped 12 shots in two periods of play, allowing three goals.
