Wolf Pack Sign Forward Paul Crowder to ATO

HARTFORD, March 20, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has signed forward Paul Crowder to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement. Crowder has already agreed to terms on an NHL contract with the parent New York Rangers.

A 6-3, 203-pound native of Victoria, B.C., Crowder, 24, comes to the Wolf Pack after three years at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. He led the Seawolves in points, goals and assists this season, with 14-19-33 in 44 games. In 107 career games in a University of Alaska-Anchorage uniform, Crowder totaled 32 goals and 48 assists for 80 points, along with 80 penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack start a stretch of three Atlantic Division games in three days tonight, as they travel to Portland to take on the Pirates (96.5 WTIC HD2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com, www.ahllive.com). Faceoff is 7:00. The Wolf Pack's next home game is next Saturday night, March 28 vs. the Providence Bruins. That is "Boy Scout Hat Night". All scouts who purchase group tickets in advance through the Wolf Pack ticket office at (860) 548-2000 will receive a special Wolf Pack scout hat. Also, the Wolf Pack encourage fans attending that game to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Foodshare.

Adult tickets for Wolf Pack home games can be purchased for as low as $10 each for the rest of the regular season, sponsored by Click It or Ticket. Pack tickets are available at the XL Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall.
