Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros Charities annual "Jerseys Off Their Backs" fundraiser ends this Saturday during the second intermission of the 7:35 p.m. game against the Peoria Rivermen. The teams will face off again Sunday at 4:05 p.m. The Aeros will return home on March 27 to face Rockford on Lyme Night.

Saturday is the last chance to bid on the "Jerseys Off Their Backs" auction and it's also the sixth and final part of the Aeros' Legends Bobblehead series featuring Mark Freer. Winners of the jerseys will meet the player on the ice after the game to have a photo taken with the player and have the jerseys personally autographed. Visit the silent auction tables in the main concourse behind section 108. The auction closes with five minutes remaining in the second intermission.

Lyme Night on Friday, March 27 will help support Texas Lyme Disease Association by donating a portion of proceeds directly to the organization. Aeros' goaltender Nolan Schaefer is auctioning his autographed mask to help raise additional funds for the cause. Please visit www.UNMASKLYME.com for more information on Schaefer and his wife's personal battle with the disease.
