Wolf Pack Return Chris Murray to Charlotte

HARTFORD, December 30, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has returned defenseman Chris Murray to its ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Murray, a second-year pro out of the University of New Hampshire, played one game during his callup, Sunday's 5-4 loss at Lowell. In 13 total games this year with the Wolf Pack, Murray has three assists, 21 penalty minutes and a +3 rating. In 15 ECHL contests with the Checkers, the 6-2, 190-pound native of Dover, MA had one assist and 40 PIM.

The Wolf Pack are back in action this Friday, January 2nd, when the Grand Rapids Griffins make their first-ever visit to the XL Center for a 7:00 game. That is a Guida's Family Value Night. Family Value Night packages start at $39 and include three tickets, three hot dogs or pizza slices, three sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir.
