December 30, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Adirondack Phantoms News Release

PHILADELPHIA - Phantoms fans are encouraged to bring their friends and their appetites to the Wachovia Spectrum this Friday night when the Phantoms host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 6:05. It's Dollar Dog Night at the Spectrum, with a host of other related activities relating to the overall "dog" theme of the evening.

Beginning from the time doors open for the game at 5:00, hot dogs will be just one dollar all night long at all Spectrum concession stands. The Phantoms expect literally thousands of hot dogs to fly off the Wachovia Spectrum grills over the course of the night.

Bob "Hound Dog" Kelly will be signing autographs on the concourse before the game. Also on the concourse will be representatives from the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), which will have dogs available for adoption at the game.

Also that evening, the Phantoms will be giving away gift certificates for a free pedicure at Rapunzel's Salon and Spa in Lansdale and Salon and Spa at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.

Fans are reminded that the start time of Friday's game has been changed to 6:05. The game was originally scheduled to start an hour later.

Through a new partnership with Babies 'R Us, all kids tickets for all Phantoms games are just $5 for the rest of the season. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of this great value to experience all the Wachovia Spectrum has to offer as the Phantoms play the final season of hockey in the historic building. Those who grew up watching the Flyers, Sixers, various concerts, and other events in the Spectrum have a tremendous final opportunity to give their kids a similar experience between now and the final regular season game on Sunday, April 12.

Tickets for Friday's game, as well as all 2008-09 regular season games, are available by calling 1-800-298-4200 or visiting phantomshockey.com.
