
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Homestand Highlights - May 8-14

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers may only play six games in the next seven days, but there will be a full week of events at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Wisconsin hosts the Cedar Rapids Kernels May 8-10 and the Quad Cities River Bandits May 12-14. The team will not play on Mother's Day, but fans may reserve a spot for the Brunch that will be served in the Banquet Venue at the ballpark.
There are plans for Halloween, a David Ortiz bobblehead giveaway, a day for the dogs, and plenty more while the Rattlers are playing games during the homestand. Details of the promotions that are scheduled are below:
- THURSDAY, MAY 8 at 6:35pm; Arty's Old Fashioned Thirsty Thursday presented by 95.9 KISS FM; Dunkin Donuts Player Poster Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a poster of Timber Rattlers pitcher Taylor Williams courtesy of Dunkin Donuts. All fans can enjoy a 22-oz soda, a 16-oz beer, or an Arty's Old Fashioned drink for just $2 as part of Thirsty Thursday presented by Arty's Old Fashioned and 95.9 KISS FM.
- FRIDAY, MAY 9 at 6:35pm; Halloween in May; North Shore Bank Family Night w/ Y100; Postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Molina Healthcare: There is still time to get your costume together for Halloween in May. There will be Trick-or-Treating, costumes, thrills, and chills for all on this special night. Friday is also a North Shore Bank Family night. Children 12 and under receive a free hot dog and soda. Plus, those 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Molina Healthcare after the game.
- SATURDAY, MAY 10 at 1:05pm; Fox Valley Animal Referral Center and Fromm Foods Present Bark in the Park: The Timber Rattlers host their sixth annual Bark in the Park event. The left field berm will be set aside for pets and pet owners to enjoy the game. Tickets are $6 for humans and free for dogs. The first 150 pets to attend the game will receive a bag of gourmet pet food from Fromm Foods. There will also be a pet food drive to benefit the Pet Pantry of Wisconsin. - SUNDAY, MAY 11 MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH: The Timber Rattlers do not play on Sunday, but the Banquet Venue in The Fox Club at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium will be hosting brunch for Mother's Day at 10:30am and 1:00pm. Make your reservation before May 8 to take Mom to a unique spot for her day,
- MONDAY, MAY 12 at 6:35pm; Qdoba Q*Monday with 106.7 KRUZ: Purchase a lunch entrée at either Qdoba location in Appleton (3813 E. Calumet Street or 4343 W. Wisconsin Avenue) on Monday before the Rattlers host the River Bandits to receive a ticket to any Monday home game during the 2014 season.
- TUESDAY, MAY 13 at 6:35pm; Merkts Tasty Tuesday; Throwback Game presented by Appvion; David Ortiz Bobblehead Giveaway courtesy of Fox Communities Credit Union: Ticket prices will be thrown back to 1995 prices of $5 for a box seat, $4 for a reserved seat, and $3 for grass seating as part of this Throwback Game presented by Appvion. Timber Rattlers players will wear jerseys based on those worn by the team in its inaugural season, too. The Rattlers continue to celebrate their 20th anniversary season presented by Bergstrom Automotive with the fourth anniversary team bobblehead in the series of nine that will be given away this season. The first 1,000 fans to attend this game will receive a bobblehead of David Ortiz, a Timber Rattler in 1996 and a three-time World Series Champion with the Boston Red Sox, courtesy of Fox Communities Credit Union. Show your business card when you purchase a ticket and for $13.50 you will receive a box seat ticket, a beverage and your choice of brat or hot dog. The offer is also available to senior citizens (55 & older) courtesy of Baker Tilly, WVBO, and AM1280 WNAM.
- WEDNESDAY, MAY 14 at 6:35pm; Cars.com Bam Bam Stick Giveaway; WIXX Bang for Your Buck Night: All fans to attend the game will receive a Bam Bam Stick giveaway from Cars.com. The final game of the homestand is a Bang for Your Buck Night. Enjoy Cher-Make hotdogs, Pepsi products, and Miller beer for $1.
Fans are urged to purchase their tickets for these games in advance one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com, over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Neuroscience Group Field Box Office. The box office is located at Fox Cities Stadium and is open on non-game days from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
