Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Great Lakes Loons (affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers) in the second game of a three-game series. This is the fifth game of the Dragons six-game road trip. They are 2-2 on the trip.

- Carlton Daal is 7 for 15 (.467) in the four games on the road trip.
- Tanner Rahier has hit safely in six straight games, batting .381 (8 for 21) with two home runs.

The Dragons are in first place. They lead West Michigan by one-half game and South Bend and by one and one-half games. The Dragons four shutout wins are tied with South Bend and Peoria for the most in the league. The Dragons team ERA of 3.02 ranks second in the Midwest League. After leading the league in April with a team ERA of 2.52, they have posted a May ERA of 5.44. The Dragons allowed at least eight runs in three straight games Thursday-Saturday.
