Whitecaps Dime Hot Dogs Are Back

COMSTOCK PARK, MI -- The popular Dime Dog promotion, presented by Wolverine Building Group, returns tonight, May 6 to Fifth Third Ballpark.

The Whitecaps will be selling regular hot dogs for just ten cents at the 6:35 p.m. game against the Lake County Captains (gates open at 5:30 p.m.). That's a 96% discount off the $2.75 regular price. There is a limit of 10 dogs per transaction.

This is the first of the five scheduled dime hot dog nights. The other dates are, July 1, July 29, August 14 and August 21.

"This has become a fan tradition," said Whitecaps Vice President Jim Jarecki. "These are game fans mark on their calendars and look forward to every time we do it. We enjoy seeing people walking around with plates loaded with dogs."

The Whitecaps are home all week with two more games against Lake County and then a three-game series with Lansing.
