Winterfest Adrian V US 18 Tickets on Sale

TOLEDO- Tickets for the outdoor hockey match-up between Adrian College and US National U18 Team are on sale now.

The two teams play on New Year's Eve, December 31, at 4 p.m. during Winterfest 2014, presented by ProMedica.

This will be the first time any team from USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, both the U.S. National Under-17 and Under-18 Teams, have played in an outdoor game, and the second time for Adrian College .

During intermission there will be two special performances by Adrian College's Skating Team. The Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating team, who are ranked ninth in the nation, perform in the first intermission and Tricia DeFelice, 2013 US Intercollegiate Team Skating Champion- Senior Ladies, will perform a competitive routine during the second.

Tickets are $10 and all seating for the game is general admission. Fans can reserve tickets by calling the Toledo Walleye box office at 419-725-WALL or by going online at www.toledowalleye.com/winterfest.

Walleye Winterfest 2014 is a 10-day extravaganza featuring the first-ever two ECHL outdoor hockey games, more than 150 youth, high school and adult hockey match-ups, a two-day FanFest, sponsored by the Andersons, that is filled with interactive activities showcasing what's good about the Toledo Region, and the first-ever Walleye Brewfest!
