THE STORY COMING IN : The Road Warriors (4-3-0-0) enter Saturday's contest with four wins in their last five games and tied for third place in the East Division with Orlando. Last week, the Warriors took two of three games from in-state rival South Carolina, including a pair of shootout wins. On Thursday, Greenville battled back from a two-goal deficit and Jeff Malcolm stopped four of five shots in the shootout for a 3-2 victory at home. Just 24 hours later, the Warriors again erased a two-goal deficit, while Jason Missiaen stopped 10 shots in a 12-round shootout for a 5-4 win on the road. The series ended in Charleston on Saturday, when South Carolina's Caleb Herbert scored his first pro hat trick en route to a 4-2 Stingray's win.

WARRIORS VS. ORLANDO : Saturday's matchup marks the third of 10 games between Greenville and Orlando this season (six in Florida, four in South Carolina). The Warriors currently trail the series 0-2-0-0 following back-to-back losses on Opening Weekend (5-2, 3-0). Last year, the Road Warriors were just 2-6-0-0 against the Solar Bears and 1-3-0-0 in road games. Overall, Orlando leads the all-time series with a record of 11-7-0.

VIEW FROM ORLANDO : The Solar Bears (3-3-0-2) enter Saturday's contest on a five-game losing skid after winning each of their first three games. Orlando was blanked 3-0 on the road by the Florida Everblades in their last outing. Florida goaltender Andrew York made 24 saves to secure the shutout. Offensively, the Solar Bears are led by 26-year old Jacob Cepis' eight points (0g, 8a). Reigning ECHL Most Valuable Player Mickey Lang has notched 3 points (2g, 1a) so far this season. Overall, Orlando has not lost six straight games in the same season since March 2, 2013 to March 17, 2013.

WARRIORS VS. STINGRAYS : Monday's game will mark the fifth of 14 meetings between the in-state rivals (eight in Greenville, six in Charleston). The Road Warriors currently lead the season series 3-1-0 after taking two of three games against the Stingrays last weekend. Last season, the Road Warriors went 7-8-1 against the "˜Rays and 4-4-0 in games played in North Charleston. Overall, Greenville leads the all-time series with a record of 37-27-2.

VIEW FROM CHARLESTON : South Carolina (2-4-0-3) enters the weekend on a two-game losing streak and in fifth place in the East Division. Last night, goaltender Adam Morrison made 28 saves on 34 shots as the Stingrays fell to division-leading Florida 6-2. Overall, South Carolina has struggled to begin the season with six losses in its last seven games and much of that is due to a lack of production on special teams. The Stingrays are currently 21st in the league (10%) on the power play and in the cellar of the ECHL (28th place) on the penalty kill (71%). The team's second-leading scorer, Andrew Rowe (4g, 3a), is currently on call-up with the AHL's Charlotte Checkers.

ALL IN THE DIVISION : The Road Warriors continue to face East Division rivals this weekend when they battle Orlando and South Carolina. In fact, each of Greenville's first 12 games this year will be within the division as they face the Solar Bears, Stingrays and Gladiators.

GOING STREAKING : Winger Michael St. Croix has recorded points in four straight games (3g, 2a) and leads the team with six points overall. Last season, the Winnipeg native finished fourth on the Road Warriors in scoring with 48 points and third on the team with 31 assists.

KILLING IT ON THE KILL : Greenville's penalty kill went 12-for-13 last week against the Stingrays and is now a league-best 96.7% on the season (29-for-30). In addition, the Road Warriors are a perfect 9-for-9 on the PK against the Solar Bears in two games. Last season, Greenville led the league in penalty killing with a success rate greater than 87%.

DOING IT ALL : Winger Emerson Clark has earned points in three straight games on the road (3g, 1a) and is tied with Kyle Jean and Chad Nehring for the team-lead in goal scoring with three. In addition, the 24-year old leads the Warriors with 37 penalty minutes over the first seven games, which also puts him in a tie for third in the league. Last season, Clark led Greenville with 231 penalty minutes.

THREE'S A CROWD : The Warriors begin their second "three games in three days" series on Saturday after going 2-1-0-0 in three consecutive contests last week. This year, Greenville will play 11 "3-in-3's" overall. The Road Warriors went 19-8-0 in those contests last season.

ROSTER SHUFFLE : Greenville's roster has drastically changed over the last seven days including the addition of six skaters and the loss of two others. On Thursday, forward Michael Kantor was reassigned to Greenville from Hartford by the New York Rangers, forward Shawn O'Donnell was loaded from Hartford and defensemen Brendan Rempel and Derrick Pallis were signed to contracts. In addition, key two-way defenseman Charles-Olivier Roussel was acquired from Utah in exchange for Trevor Parkes yesterday afternoon, while forward Sy Nutkevitch was signed to a contract on Wednesday. Finally, rookie winger Brandon Hynes was traded to Missouri last Sunday in exchange for future considerations.
