
Kennedy Recalled by Utica, IceMen Acquire Serratore

TOLEDO, Oh- The Utica Comets of the AHL recalled Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, forward Patrick Kennedy. As a result, The IceMen have acquired Forward Tom Serratore in a trade with their opponent tonight the Toledo Walleye, in exchange for future considerations.
Kennedy leaves the IceMen as the team's leading scorer, The Dorchester, Ontario native has scored four goals and dished out four assists for a team high eight points through six games.
Last season, Kennedy played in 40 games with Utica scoring a goal and helping on four others. The forward also played in 19 games for Evansville racking up 14 points (5G, 9A) in 2013-14. Through six games with the IceMen in 2014-15 Kennedy amassed a +5 rating and 11 penalty minutes.
A forward from Colorado Springs, Colo., Serratore graduated from the University of Minnesota following the 2013-14 season. The six-foot-tall, 192-pounder played four games with the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL last season.
So far this year, Serratore had an assist in three games with the Walleye. The Coloradoan also holds a +1 rating with Toledo. He switches locker rooms tonight as he plays his, now former team, the Walleye, in an IceMen uniform.
Evansville will play just their second road game of the year tonight as they travel to Toledo to take on their fellow North Division foe, the Walleye. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:15 central time. Catch all the action at the official IceMen watch party at Bar Louie.
The IceMen return to Evansville Tuesday night, Nov. 11, as they host the Orlando Solar Bears on Veteran's Day. It will be Military Appreciation Night at the Ford Center. All military personnel active or retired will receive a free ticket to the game with military ID.
