Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies play game two of their seven-game home stand tonight at the E-Center, hosting the Long Beach Ice Dogs. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05p.m. The Grizzlies also host the Ice Dogs tomorrow and have 7:05 p.m. home games every Friday and Saturday for the rest of January.
The 20-14-2 Grizzlies will be in action without defenseman Ed Hill, who has been loaned to the AHL's San Antonio Rampage. After being acquired in a December trade, Hill tallied four goals and seven assists in 15 games with Utah; including ten points in his last eight games.
In uniform tonight for the Grizzlies will be Colt King, who has four goals in his last four games for Utah. Justin Eddy (6-1-1 at home) is also expected to get the start in net after suffering his first home loss of the season Wednesday versus the Ice Dogs. Utah and Long Beach were rivals in the International Hockey League from 1995-2000.
Every Friday night home game is *Family Feast Night* with select food items $1 at E-Center concession stands.
