
Traylen back with Titans, Zingoni activated

TRENTON, NJ (January 13, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Friday that goaltender Dustin Traylen has been returned from the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL).
In his first AHL start on Wednesday Traylen made 35 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Albany River Rats. Traylen, 24, is 10-4-0 in 17 games for the Titans with a .921 save percentage and a 2.42 GAA that ranks sixth in the ECHL. The Kirkland, Quebec product has finished twice this season finished as runner-up for ECHL Goaltender of Week.
In a separate transaction, forward Peter Zingoni has been activated off the 30-day IR.
Zingoni, 24, will make his season debut tonight as the Titans face off against the Dayton Bombers. The 6'1", 180 lb native of Bridgeport, CT skated in 32 games last season with the Essen Mosquitoes where he notched 20 goals, 9 assists and 109 penalty minutes. An eighth round draft pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2000 NHL entry Draft, the second-year professional was a four-year letterman at Providence University totaling 81 points (34g, 47a) and 134 PIM in 127 games.
The Titans next play at Sovereign Bank Arena against the Dayton Bombers on Friday, January 20 at 7:30pm and Saturday, January 21 at 7:00pm.
