Those Buggers: The Tulsa Oilers host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs tonight, in the first Northeast Division battle for the Oilers.

Records: Oilers are 0-3-0 with 0 points, in fourth place in the Northeast Division. Bossier-Shreveport is 1-2-2 with 4 points, in third place in the Northeast Division.

Season Series: This is the first of nine meetings between the two teams this season. The teams play five games in Tulsa and will play four games in Bossier-Shreveport.

Roster Moves: The Oilers have placed defenseman Kevin Harris on the 14 day injured reserve list, retroactive to October 28th. He joins Matt Hanson and Brent McMann on the injured reserve list. The Oilers expect to have left winger Tyler Shantz in the line up for tonight's game, playing his first game for the Oilers.

Postgame Party: After tonight's game, the Oilers players will be meeting with season ticket holders in the second floor assembly hall. This is the first of five postgame parties for season ticket holders only. To become a season ticket holder, call the Oilers at 632-7825.

Mr. Steady: Right winger Mike Wiggins is off to a good start. He has goals in each of the first three games of the season and leads the Oilers with three goals on the season.

Looking For A Crooked Number: The Oilers have yet to score more than one goal in a period this season. Tulsa has scored one goal in seven different periods so far this year.

Next Up: The Oilers continue a four game homestand tomorrow night against the Memphis RiverKings at 7:35 p.m. The homestand wraps up Tuesday night against the Colorado Eagles at 7:05 p.m. this is one of two four game homestands for the Oilers this season (the longest of the year). The next four game homestand is March 6-13. The Mudbugs, who play nine of their first 11 games on the road, travel to Wichita to play tomorrow night.
