OKLAHOMA CITY, OK --- Jason Sessa scored two goals and Ben Conway picked up his first pro win as the RiverKings doubled up the Oklahoma City Blazers 6-3 Friday night at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. The win snapped a 11 game road winless streak that dated back to last February. It was also just the 10th win all-time for a Memphis team in Oklahoma City.

Memphis built a 2-0 lead on a first period goal by Travis Banga and a second period goal by Darrell Stoddard. The Blazers came back to tie it at two with just under eight minutes left in the second. That is when Jason Sessa took over. He scored twice within two and half minutes to put the lead back at two.

Derek Campbell and Phil Aucoin teamed up on a two on one, with Campbell scoring, to put the lead at 5-2 with seven minutes remaining in the game. Jason Tessier added a shorthanded, empty net goal with 1:29 left to seal the win.

Conway stopped 30 of 33 shots in his second career start. Louis Dumont and Phil Aucoin each had two assists.

The RiverKings improved to 3-1-2, while the Blazers suffered their first loss in regulation and fell to 4-1-1.

The RiverKings will play at Tulsa Saturday night at 7:35 before hosting Rocky Mountain Sunday at 5:05.
