Arizona Sundogs Voted Third Best in CHL Coaches Poll

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs have been voted 3rd best in the first-ever weekly CHL Coaches Poll, based on voting by the league's 17 head coaches. The Sundogs, 4-1-0 on the season, received three first-place votes and collected 136 of a possible 160 points. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own club.

The Youngstown SteelHounds earned this week's top spot after starting the season 4-0-1 while Oklahoma City was ranked second. The Wichita Thunder and Colorado Eagles close out the top five respectively.

The Southwest Division-leading Sundogs face off against the 2-1-0 Colorado Eagles tonight and Saturday in Loveland, Colo. This weekend's games mark the first-ever regular season meetings between the two clubs. The two teams met twice in pre-season action with the Sundogs taking both games in overtime, with scores of 5-4 and 3-2.

Fans can catch both games live on 96.7 FM The Wolf. Broadcast times for both contests are set for 7:05pm (Arizona time).
