Walleye Notes
- Past Week Performance! Toledo finished this past week with a 1-0-0-0 record in the lone game played. The Walleye took down Kalamazoo 2-1 on Friday night. Forward Kyle Rogers and defenseman Gleason Fournier scored for the Walleye in the win. It was Toledo's first win over Kalamazoo this year.
- McCollum Shines! Goaltender Thomas McCollum stopped 37 of 38 shots on Friday night for his fourth win of the season. Thomas has started five consecutive contests and has wins in three of those (3-1-1 record). Over his last five, McCollum has posted a 2.78 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.
- Finding the Road Stride! With its win on Friday, Toledo has won five of its last eight road games. Toledo is 5-7-0-0 away from home this season.
- Gametime! The Walleye play three games this week and each one is against a different division rival. The first is Tuesday night when the Chicago Express come to Toledo. The Walleye are 4-3-0 so far this season against the Express. Toledo will welcome the Cincinnati Cyclones to the Huntington Center on Friday night. Toledo has won two and lost three of the five games this year against Cincinnati. The week comes to a close with a Saturday night showdown in Kalamazoo.
- Promotions! Tuesday night is "Ugly Holiday Sweater Night" with the Walleye. Friday night, the first 5,000 fans through the door will receive a 2012 Walleye/Mud Hens Calendar! That night also features a "Post Game Party with the Walleye Players" on the Club Level Lounge.
