Robins Returns from Abbotsford

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that F Bobby Robins, who earned his first call-up to the AHL this season, has been returned on loan from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Robins' call up last week was his first time back in the AHL since playing five games for the Rochester Americans and one game for the Syracuse Crunch in 2007-08. The Peshtigo, WI, native played two games with Abbotsford last week, and his AHL career now includes 104 games with 11 goals, 11 assists, and 144 PIM. The 30-year old forward currently leads the Express in PIM with 119 in 27 games, and his seven goals places him tied for second on the team in that category.
