The Elmira Jackals return home after a seven-game road trip when they welcome the Wheeling Nailers to First Arena at 7:05 p.m on 4-for-$44 night. The Jackals snapped a tie with the Nailers for first place in the Atlantic Division on Wednesday, jumping into sole possession of the top spot with a 3-2 win in overtime in Wheeling. Elmira will play its first contest at First Arena tonight since Dec. 3 and enters the contest on a three-game home winning streak.

MORE OVERTIME HEROICS

One season after going a combined 1-10 in sudden-death overtime and shootouts, Elmira is a perfect 7-0 following regulation this season, with a 3-0 sudden-death record and a 4-0 mark in shootouts. The Jackals are the only remaining ECHL team this season with a flawless overtime record. Wheeling was the only other remaining unbeaten team in overtime in the league heading into last Wednesday's contest.

ARMSTRONG DEPARTS FOR FINLAND

Riley Armstrong's overtime winner on Wednesday was his final goal with the Jackals, as the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native signed with SM-liiga's SaiPa during the Christmas break. Armstrong had three goals and four assists for seven points in nine games with Elmira this season.
