Three Move up to Norfolk

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce several roster moves today. INF Carlos Rojas, INF Buck Britton and RHP Eddie Gamboa were transferred to Triple-A Norfolk. RHP Oliver Drake was activated from the Disabled list and INF Bobby Stevens was transferred to Bowie from Triple-A Norfolk. With the moves, the Baysox have 23 active players on the 25-man roster and five players on the Disabled List.

Rojas is batting .296 (8-27) in nine games for the Baysox this season. He has recorded one double and two RBIs.

Britton is batting .302 (19-63) in 16 games for the Baysox this season. He has recorded four doubles and four RBIs. He was activated from the Disabled List May 8.

Gamboa is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA and one save in nine games (one start) for the Baysox this season. He has allowed seven runs (four earned) on 19 hits while striking out 19 batters and walking six in 25.1 innings.

Drake has not yet pitched this season after beginning the year on the Disabled List. He was 3-5 with a 5.20 ERA in 12 starts for the Baysox in 2011.

Stevens is batting .253 (20-79) in 21 games with the Keys this season. He has recorded four home runs and 10 RBIs. He also appeared in three games for Triple-A Norfolk, going 1-for-9 with a double.
