----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look to extend their longest winning streak of the season as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the middle game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves won their sixth consecutive game and second straight against the Aeros. Erie has also won five straight on the current homestand. A win tonight can equal Erie's longest winning streak of 2011 at seven games...Right Zack Segovia takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his eight start of the season and first against the Aeros. Segovia earned his fourth straight win in his last start against Altoona on May 10. He allowed four runs on eight with three walks and a strikeout. Erie won the game 8-4...Lefty T.J. McFarland takes the mound for the Aeros making his eighth start and first against the SeaWolves. McFarland has won four straight and six of seven starts this season. He tossed seven shutout innings in his last start against Harrisburg, allowing five hits with a walk and four strikeouts. Opponents are hitting .253 against McFarland this season...On the current homestand, the SeaWolves as a team are hitting .308 with nine home runs and 33 runs scored. With last night's win, the SeaWolves are now a game over .500 at home and the two games above .500 on the season is the club's high water mark.
