Manchester Monarchs News Release
The Monarchs host the Albany River Rats on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena followed by a 7:00 p.m. contest with the Providence Bruins in Monarchs Country on Saturday, December 13. Manchester concludes their home-and-home series with the Bruins with a trip to the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Sunday, December 14 with the puck dropping at 4:05 p.m.
The first 2,000 fans to the Monarchs game on Saturday against the Bruins will receive a T-shirt, courtesy of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. In addition to the T-shirt giveaway on Saturday, the Monarchs Care Foundation and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves will be collecting toys from fans for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive. Bring an unwrapped toy for children in need this holiday season!
Boyle's Back
The Monarchs leading goal scorer from the 2007-08 season has returned to Monarchs Country! Center Brian Boyle began the season with the Los Angeles Kings and was assigned to Manchester on November 30 to work on his physical aspect of the game. Starting where he left off last season, Boyle picked up two points in his 2008-09 debut at the Verizon Wireless Arena in the Monarchs 3-2 win over the Worcester Sharks last Friday night.
