Crunch Sign Goaltender Ryan Munce

Syracuse, NY (December 10, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed goaltender Ryan Munce to a professional tryout contract.

Munce, 23, has appeared in 16 games for Mississippi (ECHL) this season, compiling a 9-6-0 record with a 3.35 goals against average and .912 save percentage. A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Munce was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the third round, 82nd overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch's next game is Friday, December 12 as they return home to take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
