Moose & Yearling Foundation donates $5,000 in gifts at Annual Children's Hospital Holiday Visit

Today, the Manitoba Moose hockey club visited the Children's Hospital for their eighth annual Holiday Visit. This year, the Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation will donate over $5,000 to the hospital in various forms, including gifts-in-kind, and donations towards future purchases for the hospital.

As a result, the Yearling Foundation has now donated over $30,000 in gifts to the Children's Hospital over the past eight years.

The following outlines this year's donations:

-$2,500.00 will be donated to the Children's Hospital's "Sticker Program" given to children in recognition of their achievements during their stay at the hospital.

-$762.00 was part of a general donation made to the Children's Hospital.

-$1,738.00 in gifts-in-kind (video games, much needed infant items) was donated to the hospital.

The Yearling Foundation has also teamed up with the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship who donated "Build-A-Bears", and participants of the Ranger Insurance Charity Golf Classic who donated stuffed animals for the players to distribute during the visit.
